Zero Hunger

 

     Did you know that many people are getting sick and dying because they don't have enough food? A lot of people in the world have no food, and if they don’t have food they become hungry. But they don’t have enough money to afford any food, so they starve. We are trying to fix that, we want everyone in the world to have enough food. 

Millions of people suffer without food. Everyday many men and women struggle to feed their kids a meal. Hunger is the leading cause of death and sickness in the world. Today, there are nearly 2.5 billion people without food, almost one- third of the world’s population.  

There are many ways we can stop hunger. We can stop hunger by stopping the waste of food, stop the meat feast, because the meat we eat is from animals and if we keep eating more and more meat, they're gonna have to keep raising more and more animals.  

There are at least 800,000 people that are food insecure. In a world, where we produce enough food to feed everyone, 690 million people still go to bed with any empty stomach every night. At least 9 million people die of hunger each year. 25,000 people including 10,000 children die from hunger and related causes every day. 

Hopefully one day hunger  will go away because nobody should be hungry. As you can see that a lot of people in the world don’t have any food. Hunger is just a big problem in the world because it's either people can't afford food because they have no money, or they can't find any food and there are a bunch of other reasons why hunger is a big problem.
