Disasters in the Rainforest

Rainforests get destroyed all the time. A lot different species from the rainforest become extinct because the trees get cut down and people hunt for animals. As the natural habitat decreases, more and more animal lives are at risk. All lifeforms in the rainforest are in danger most of the time.

Trees get cut down in the rainforest and the trees shouldn’t get cut down because the trees in the rainforest help us breathe. We also need the rainforests to produce oxygen and to be able to clean the atmosphere so we can breathe in clean air.

3.5 to 7 billion trees get cut down a year. A lot of trees are getting cut down, the trees in the rainforest should not get cut down because then they can't clean the air, animals lose their homes, and animals might lose some of their food. The world’s rainforests are disappearing at a rate of 6000 acres per hour.

At least 140 species of lifeforms get extinct everyday throughout all of the rainforests in the world. The destruction such as logging, and cattle ranching have all contributed to the loss of rainforests. If some animal’s homes are in the trees they're most likely to get destroyed. The animals have no warning at all and they have no time to move. Most of the time when rainforests get destroyed, the animals die.

Bigger animals such as leopards, enjoy the rainforest because they have room to roam around and in other places there isn’t that much space for bigger animals to roam around.

Rainforests are very important for us and everyone else in the world. We need rainforests in our lives. If we didn’t have any rainforests we wouldn’t have some animals like monkeys, frogs, sloths, leopards and a lot of other animals. Also if we didn’t have any rainforests we wouldn’t have clean air to breathe. That is why we need rainforests.

  1. This is a good blog, but it has many typos. Make sure you do some good editing before you publish. Also, you can't have any one sentence paragraphs.
